Regina Horne Beard currently works as a librarian at a public residential high school in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  She holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where she studied history and English.  While a graduate student at HSU, she was a contributor to the book Egypt and Her Neighbours: A Reader by Michael M. Ogbeidi.  

 

Ms. Beard spends her leisure time on a farm in Bonnerdale with her husband, Loren, and numerous cats.  In her spare time she stays busy with hobbies including cooking, quilting, reading (especially non-fiction history), hiking, and traveling the world. She especially enjoys writing poetry, historical fiction, and ghost stories.
